Server Setup

To open the Server Setup menu, select Server Setup from the Main Menu. From the

Server Setup menu, you can open several windows that configure the RASExpress

server’s network operations.

General Setup

To open the General Setup window, select General Setup from the Server Setup

menu.

In the General Setup window, you can change the following parameters:

Server Name

Use this field to assign a unique name to the RASExpress server. The server name is

broadcast on the Novell network. It is also used by MultiCommManager to monitor

RASExpress server statistics.

Supervisor Password

Use this field to assign a supervisor password. The password is case-sensitive. For

security, the actual characters are replaced by asterisks. This password locks the local

console and prevents regular users from running MultiCommManager and making

changes to the RASExpress server.
