Beforeyoustart,printtheseinstructions.
Increasingmemorycapacityisaneffectivewaytomakeprogramsrunfaster.Toreplaceoraddamemory
module,readthefollowingprerequisites,andthentheinstructions.
Note:Theoperatingspeedofthememorymodulehasdependencyonthesystemconguration.Insome
conditions,thememorymoduleinyourcomputermightnotbeabletooperateatthemaximumspeed.
Attention:Beforeyoustartinstallingamemorymodule,touchametaltableoragroundedmetalobject.This
actionreducesanystaticelectricityfromyourbody.Staticelectricitycoulddamagethememorymodule.
Replacingamemorymodule
Toreplaceamemorymodule,dothefollowing:
1.Turnoffthecomputer;thendisconnecttheacpoweradapterandallcablesfromthecomputer.Wait
threetoveminutestoletthecomputercool.
2.Closethecomputerlidandturnthecomputerover.
3.Removethebatterypack.See“Replacingthebatterypack”onpage65.
