All screws have to be tightened to ensure that the instrument is

waterproof.

For the equipment setup as real-time base station with radio, it's recom-

mended to use an external radio antenna mounted on a second tripod.

This increases the height of the radio antenna and therefore maximises

radio coverage. Refer to the Leica Viva GNSS Getting Started Guide for

detailed information about the setup.
