● ChecktheboxifyouwantthisasyourdefaultInternetconnection.ThenclickNext.

12. OntheCompletingtheNe wConnectionWizard screen,youlasttaskistoplac eacheckintheboxifyouwould

liketoaddashortcuttoyourdesktop.ThenclickFinish.

13. AConnectionscreendisplaysonyourdesktop.ClickPropertiesonthebottomofthisscreen.

14. ThePropertieswindowopensforyoutomakeyourconnection.

Important:MakesurethatUsedialingrulesisnotselected,andthenclickOK.

15. OncebackatyourConnectionscreen,clickDialatthebottomofthescreentostarttheconnection.

16. Theconnectiontellsthemodemtoconnecttoyourprovider’sInternet service.Onceconnected,youshould

seetheconnectionstatusiconinyoursystemtrayatthebottomright‐handcornerofyourscreen. 
